Ecstatic reviews greeted Marc-André Hamelin's first (and thus far only) all-Chopin album, uniting and surprising critics across the world as poetry combined with Hamelin's superhuman virtuosity. Included are two mainstays of the Romantic repertoire: Chopin's 'Piano Sonatas Nos 2 and 3', alongside a musical aperitif in the form of the 'Berceuse, Op 57'.
