Mia, a recovering drug addict, asks her brother and their friends to accompany her to a remote forest cabin to help her through withdrawal. When one of her friends, Eric, finds a Book of the Dead and reads aloud from it, he awakens an ancient demon that possesses Mia and unleashes hell.
