This book is not a cry against what has been done. It will not recount, one by one, the atrocities perpetrated by Israel in Gaza. The world has seen it all. The world has done nothing. These fragments are a cry for humanity, for you to discard the rot and waste of civilisation, to stop scrolling through war crimes, numbing yourself to everything that might disrupt business as usual. The genocide of Gaza is not something happening ‘over there’. It is happening here, endorsed, exported, monetised. None of us is guiltless. None of us is free. How to live as if we are?
